Foam Type Catheters

Disposable foam catheters which facilitate entering the reproductive tract with minimum risk of entering the urethra. Soft foam provides for an excellent lock in the cervix. The shaft is recessed to protect mucus membranes in the tract.

Spiral Type Catheter

A molded Melrose-Style spiral tip allows insertion without damage to the reproductive tract. The spiral tip is made of a high quality thermal plastic rubber. The catheter has a side orifice.

The ITSI breeder belt is snugged around the sow or gilt directly on it's flanks with Velcro® fastener to stimulate the animal for aid in breeding. An optional tube holder is available which attached to the top portion of the belt.

Boar odor spray for heat detection and management of breeding pigs. Hog Mate™ is used to determine whether or not a gilt or sow is at a correct stage of oetrus for artificial insemination. The spray contains a solution of the same pheromone compound which occurs naturally in the boar and which is responsible for the “boar odor”. The need to keep and maintain “teaser” boars is no longer necessary. Hog Mate™ is also used for the stimulation of libido in reluctant boars. It also improves efficiency and semen output. This product is sold individually.

Pressure-fitting horseshoe-shaped device to mimic/stimulate animal for hands-free A. I. breeding of sow or gilt. Steel rod extends from upper rear of the horseshoe for catching the semen tube or bag. Available in both bottle/ tube or semen bag versions (please specify). Sold individually.

The ITSI insemination apron is a unique way to keep all your insemination equipment organized and close at hand without loss of mobility. The apron has eight pockets designed to hold semen bottles or semen tubes and a scabbard to hold insemination catheters. Washable fabric with adjustable nylon belt.

The ITSI knife has a reversed and recessed cutting blade for easily cutting bottles or tube tips.
